Well, my family’s going camping this weekend, (thurs,fri,sat) and i think it’s the perfect time to chill out with some kentuckies. If you stay late enough on one night, we may roast marshmallows! It’s at elkhorn campground, In Frankfort. I’d love it if someone would show up, the last meetup i went to got cancelled when we were already there. Anyways, i have some directions for you guys from lexington/louisville

From Lexington, Ky. take Interstate 64 west to exit 58. Turn right onto U.S. 60 and go 2.3 miles. Turn right onto U.S.460 east. Go 2.5 miles and you will see our sign on the right just after the bridge. Turn right on North Scruggs Lane and go .2 miles and bare to your right.

From Louisville, Ky. take Interstate 64 east to exit 58. Turn left onto U.S. 60 and go 2.3 miles. Turn right onto U.S.460 east. Go 2.5 miles and you will see our sign on the right just after the bridge. Turn right on North Scruggs Lane and go .2 miles and bare to your right.

Please bring your own food. Sure, it’s a meetup, but we simply cannot cater for everyone.

Cosplay is alright, but you’re in charge of your stuff. Please don’t use then ben nye, as you’ll end up sweating gray. Please, remember to dress appropriately. I mean, it’s going to be somewhere from 80-100 all week? Also, bring a swimsuit! The campground has a big pool, miniature golf,horseshoes,basketball,volleyball, shuffleboard, and a store with ice cream and small snacks!!!

If you’re going to cosplay, horns and t-shirts are fine, and encouraged. Please don’t come in some intensely crazy getup just to have to change! props are allowed, but you’re responsible for them.

Please do not loiter, litter, or disobey park rules.

Please keep the cursing to a minimum, children will be nearby.

Don’t pester or bully, or you’ll be asked to leave.Basicly, show respect.

There’ll be games and fun, so bring a smile!!!!!!

When: Saturday, June 23rd at noon.

Where: Right inside the zoo as you turn right, there is a fountain shaped like a spinny giant ball. We will be meeting there.

Hey guys! My name is Jayson and I’m super new to the area, but I decided to hold a meet up for all Kentucky Homestucks (kenstuckies, hehe) at the zoo in downtown Louisville!

General admission for the zoo runs right around $13 with free parking, but remember to bring money for drinks and food, too! I know you can buy the souvenir cup for $5 and get $2 refills, and if you already have the cup (even from years past), you can bring it and still get the $2 refills. 

LIGHT cosplay will be allowed. I mean, if you’re going to just die unless you wear your horns, I guess that’s okay, but please don’t paint yourselves gray or wear any Tavros horns or anything. Wigs and all that are fine, and please, no weapon-like props or anything that zoo security may have an issue with. I myself will be sporting a humanized Tavros get up. But also keep in mind that it will most likely be pretty damn hot, so if you have issues with heat, don’t go wearing Karkat’s long sleeves or solid black.

There’s food and stuff that you can buy inside, but I also noticed that they don’t check your bags or anything, so if you want to bring a small snack or a sandwich or something, feel free. If you guys really want, we could always go out to eat or something afterwards. 

We will be meeting up right at noon at the spinny-ball-fountain-thing that’s to your right, right as you enter the zoo. You’ll know it when you see it. I’ll try to get there at around 11:45am to meet you guys, and we’ll probably step off on our wonderful wild journey at around 12:15-ish, after we’re sure everyone has arrived.
